Danganronpa Episode 1 Review

Posted by Unknown at 08:47 2 comments
The following is a review of the first episode of Danganronpa. There are no spoilers, except for a more detailed view of the synopsis.
Danganronpa is recommended for ages 16+, for disturbing themes and violence.

Who can deny a great murder mystery?
There's nothing like the adrenaline of a good thrill; the atmosphere of a haunting horror; and, of course, the ever present question of who did what, and who would be next.
So upon hearing of Danganronpa's release just by the description alone I was excited. I had never played the game before, but the anime seemed to mesh everything that I loved in an entertaining show. Top that with a frightening bear who has me eying my own stuffed toys in suspicion, and you have yourself a stellar start to what will hopefully be a great series.

2013 Summer Anime Season - Ami's Top Picks

2013 Summer Anime Season

 Ami's Picks

2013 Anime has been a mixed bag for me so far. The Winter season felt like a bowl of mediocrity, though the Spring anime season really did pick up in terms of quality anime. Fans were presented with Shingeki no Kyojin, Karneval, Yahari, Suisei no Gargantia and many other enjoyable shows. It was a welcome mix of genres, and most of the shows were generally solid.
So I wonder how the Summer season will fair - and if we're lucky, let's hope it will be yet another great season for anime! So here is my Top Picks - and more - for this Summer, in no particular order~

Everybody Starts Somewhere

Greetings, strange reader, and welcome to my blog - a blog for anime, manga, books, reviews and more! My name is Ami, and whilst I am rather new to this 'blogging' idea, the thought of keeping an online diary for everything that I love has a strong appeal.
I'm home-schooled, and a lover of many things. Novels helped me through a very harsh time; anime and manga made me smile, and brought joy to my days. Fast forward to the present and I'm your average geek with an intimate love affair for all these things, and more~
I take lessons in Japanese and Sewing, and am quite the regular to my local graphic novel cafe. I have a wide collection of books, anime and manga and most of my money (if not all) goes towards funding my many addictions (hey, enjoy youth while you can, right?)

Oh and I also love my cats. To me they are my children. My fluffy, adorable, ever-so-hungry children.
Meet Fifi. She's a diva; a beauty queen; a tomboy and a rich snob all rolled into one
But alas. I can't wait to start writing regularly here. And - whether you are a stranger or not - feel free to drop by and leave a comment. It's always nice to meet people with similar interests.

Sincerely,
--Ami {Or 'Claudia'}
